Hi, I'm Kim Hastey,
I/O Psychologist and Licensed Career Counselor

On the professional side, I received a Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (essentially "work psychology") in 2003 from Colorado State University. The areas in which I specialized were psychological testing and career counseling. As both a graduate student and then professor at CSU, I worked with college students to help guide them toward their academic major and career direction. Since then, I've become licensed through the Myers-Briggs Company to administer and interpret their assessments.

On the personal side, I'm a wife and mom of two sons both at Bedford High School. Lately, it seems all we've been discussing is how to start planning for college and a future career. It's not easy! In fact, that's how this program was developed...to meet their needs, when we couldn't find a similar program elsewhere. Overall, we found that using these scientific tools gave us a place to start in tackling these big conversations. My goal is to now help others in this same stage of life. I ultimately want to help you find what career areas you're excited about, so you can move forward in that pursuit!
